Sorry

As promised, here's an apology for Night of the Batmen! Not for the episode itself, which I think was a good one, and one I'm proud of. Also, I won't apologize for the fact that "The Ballad of Batman" is now stuck in your head forever, because that's what a good song is supposed to do. No, my apology is not for anything that was in the show, but something we left out.
In the original script, from first draft all to the final version, Joker was accompanied by his cute but calamitous companion-in-crime, Harley Quinn. But as we started to get ready to board it, I asked James Tucker if he'd mind if I replaced her with one of Joker's previous sidekicks, Gaggy - which he obviously agreed to, because in the show, we did this -

So to all of the Harley Quinn fans out there, I'm sorry I removed her from the show. But here's the thing - in an 22 minute episode with five guest heroes and six villains with talking parts already, there was no time to include Harley, except as a silent partner. And if you're gonna use Harley, you want her to have some dialogue - it's just out of character for her to hang around quietly in the background. Not so much for Gaggy. So while I don't regret swapping Gaggy in for her, I know she has a lot of fans who would have liked to have seen more of her in our show, and to them, sorry.

This episode was incredible. Brave and the Bold continues to top itself in all-out awesomeness.

Would love to see the final image of the multiple Batmen with labels for where they all came from. It was so great seeing Terry in there!

Hi, just found your blog, I love Brave and the Bold. There should be room for "Fun Batman" in the world! I'm sorry it's coming to an end in the near future. Are there 7 episodes left?

If you're in the States, there are ten episodes left, including "The Mask of Matches Malone!" from Season 2. Other countries, more than 10.

Why have we not seen Alan Scott on Batman The Brave And The Bold? The Golden Age Of Justice! would have been the perfect episode to show him on. Can you get an appearance of this character in season 3 before the show ends? I would like to see a story like in The All New Batman Brave and the Bold # 7 comic issue, where it shows Batman meeting Alan Scott when he starts out as Batman. He is the only Green Lantern besides Kyle Rayner that has not been shown yet. He is the founding member of the JSA and was left out.

He just got left out because there would have been too many new characters in that episode if he was there.

Can you get him in an episode where him and Batman face Solomon Grundy? I feel most of the Golden Age Green Lantern Villains have been shown already and fans should have a chance to see the original GL from the 40s before the show ends.

Also, this show is great! thank you for showing us the many obscure DC characters in this series!

Can we get Alan Scott's origin story on an episode before Batman The Brave and The Bold ends?

I'm not allowed to comment on upcoming appearances, sorry.
